Where is the Practice Located?
Luxury Lifestyle Medicine™ is located on 15255 N 40th street, suite 127, Phoenix, AZ 85255. We are located in the same suite as Premier Allergy & Asthma. We are relocating to our permanent location in North Scottsdale soon. Please check back in Fall 2025 for more details.

Comparing Direct Primary Care vs Insurance-Based vs Concierge Primary Care FAQs
What is Direct Primary Care (DPC), and How is It Different From Traditional Healthcare?
DPC is a membership-based model that provides unlimited primary care visits with your physician for a flat monthly fee. Additionally, members have direct access to contact their physician through secure phone, text and portal messaging. We do not bill insurance, which allows for more time, greater access, and a highly personalized experience.
How Does Direct Primary Care Compare to Insurance-Based Primary Care?
Luxury Lifestyle Medicine is a direct primary care (DPC) practice. We do not accept/participate in any insurance network. Direct primary care is a membership-based practice model (similar to a gym membership) with one transparent monthly fee, without any co-pays or “surprise billing”. The membership includes comprehensive and unlimited primary care visits, longer appointment duration, and direct access to your physician through secure phone/text and portal messaging. In addition to primary care, Dr. Mila Lopez, MD is also double-board certified in lifestyle medicine and offers these specialist services in the Luxury Lifestyle medicine membership plan. Preoperative consultation is also included in the membership plan. Members also have access to preferred pricing on labs which are significantly discounted compared to going through insurance.
How Does Direct Primary Care Compare to Concierge-Based Primary Care?
Luxury Lifestyle Medicine is not a concierge practice, it is Direct Primary Care. It is similar in that you have highly personalized, longer visits, with direct access to your physician through secure phone, text, and portal messaging. Concierge medical practices often require a yearly retainer fee at a significantly higher rate (often $10,000 to $25,000) and additionally bill insurance for medical visits and services provided. While similar in experience, DPC typically offers many of the same benefits as concierge care without the high annual fees or insurance billing. Our goal is to offer luxury-level access and service—without luxury-level price tags.
Insurance FAQs
Do I Still Need Insurance?
Yes. While we provide primary care, we recommend having insurance to cover emergency care, specialist visits, and hospitalizations.
Can I Use My HSA or FSA to Pay for Membership?
In many cases, yes. However, we recommend checking with your tax advisor or insurance plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

Are Labs and Imaging Tests Included in the Membership Fee?
No, however members have access to labs and other tests at the Luxury Lifestyle Medicine™ preferred rate.
OPTION 1: Complete test at the lab/imaging center of your choice (ex: Labcorps, Quest, etc) and bill through your insurance.
OPTION 2: Cash pay at the Luxury Lifestyle Medicine preferred rate.
Is There a Limit to How Often I Can Be Seen?
No. Your membership covers unlimited visits. We encourage you to come in whenever needed, without worrying about co-pays or surprise bills.
Do You Offer Care for Children or Families?

Do You Offer Care for Seniors Aged Over 65?

Do You Offer Home Visits?

How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
If you are a member, please book your appointment through the portal. If you are not a member yet, please either contact us, schedule a discovery call, or sign up for membership on our experience page.
I Do Not See an Appointment That Fits My Schedule, How Do I Proceed?
Please contact us immediately through secure phone/text/portal message if you do not see an appointment availability that fits your schedule. It is our priority to do our best to accommodate your time-sensitive healthcare needs.
How Do I Communicate With My Doctor Between Visits?
You’ll have direct access to your physician via secure text, phone call, and portal messaging for quick questions or follow-ups.
At What Time Can I Directly Contact My Physician?
The membership fee includes direct contact with your physician with extended hours from 8am to 8pm Mondays to Fridays. Our office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. It is our priority to respond to messages and inquiries about your health without any delays. For a limited number of members, Luxury Lifestyle Medicine also offers year-round 24/7 access to their physician for an additional retainer fee. If you are experiencing an urgent health issue outside of our business hours, please visit an urgent care. We will usually be able to accommodate a same-day or next-day appointment from Monday to Friday. Does Your Clinic Accept Walk-Ins?
No. We offer primary care visits to members only and by appointment only. If you are a member, please book your appointment through the portal for a same-day or next-day visit.
